"Friend" was created for my Illustration class for an assignment related to creating a character and world. I landed on his design after much deliberation, and the sketches of the five other potential designs are included on this page as well. The second half of this assignment can be found on this page, "Interior / Exterior".

Two digital illustrations. The first image is a full-body illustration of "Friend", who is a lanky anthropomorphic possum. He wears a red hoodie and black pants, and he has slightly exaggerated eyebags and thick eyebrows. He looks fairly tired. The second image is a sketch page of six concepts for the final design. The top row of designs are more stylized, and they are of a weasel, "Friend", and a raccoon. The bottom row of designs are more cartoony depictions of the top row, and are drawn in a looser style. They are the same animals.
